My Holidays looks/tips in December's Cosmopolitan

lThe December issue of Cosmo en Español is out and features my tips for some very wearable makeup looks.  Here's the first one I will share with you, I'll post some more soon:
Ph. Steve Erle, Hair: Carlos Ortiz for Cloutierremix.com, Makeup: Luis Casco for Celestine, Styling: Brett McCall for Seaminx

In English:
"Bright glossy lips are the perfect harmony to pair with elegant night time earrings"
Luis Casco
Casco prefers the lips to be the focus of this look leaving the face more neutral.  "I begin by applying a lip primer", he explains.  "Then, a pink lipliner all over the lip and finally a soft pink lip gloss".
His trick for lips that stay on all night?  " I used a tissue directly on the lips to take away any excess product and repeated all the steps one more time.  Finally, I applied a gold eyeshadow on top of the lipstick, using the fingers giving them a highlight to make them look fuller and very festive".

Here are the steps:

Step 1:
Mary Kay TimeWise Age-Fighting Lip Primer- this will help your lipstick stay and prevent the gloss from running!

Step 2:
Milani Lip Flash lipliner.  This lipliner has a lot of beautiful rich pigment and a little goes a long way:

Step 3:
Beauty for real's "See the Light!" illuminating lip gloss in Dlight.  I know women who LOVE this gloss.  It also has a built-in mirror and LED light- what's more perfect to pull out at your Holiday parties?

Step 4: (last one, I promise it's worth it!)
Urban Decay Eyeshadow in SWF.  Described as a light cotton candy pink w/ silver microglitter, it's just the perfect finishing touch for this lip look.  Your lips will sparkle with a subtle sheen.  Apply it with your fingers starting at the middle of the lips- smack them together and you are ready!
