The evening was organized to honor women's reproductive rights, being billed as 50 & Fabulous: Celebrating 50 Years of Women's Advances Since The Pill.
Honored were Gloria Steinem, Kate White of Cosmopolitan Magazine, and non-profits like The Profamil Project: Rebuilding Women’s Health Clinics in Haiti; Planned Parenthood Federation of America and the National Institute for Reproductive Health.
