Plus-Size Model Robyn Lawley in Australian Cosmopolitan Posted: 23 Oct 2010 08:50 AM PDT WCurve plus-size model Robyn Lawley is featured in the November issue of Australian Cosmopolitan Magazine – this number has the tagline ‘Sexy At Any Size’, which is why plus-size models were included in the pages next to the straight size ones. Robyn is rocking a wide range of one and two-piece swimsuits in this shoot… and here are her thoughts on the experience: The greatest thing about the shoot was getting treated exactly like the other model and not just in the way of how the crew was (crew were too much fun :p) but in the way that the swimwear was just as glorious as what the straight size model wore, which is extremely rare in plus size. I absolutely love the spread and I am very proud of what we achieved. I'm so happy that more and more of this kind of editorial opportunities are happening and that more kinds of different models are now used to showcase all type of clothes. Does Robyn look plus-size to you? And what do you think of the shoot? Many more pictures are waiting for you on the next page! ... Julia Roberts on Her Good Figure: ‘It is 97 percent genetics’ Posted: 23 Oct 2010 08:31 AM PDT 42 year-old actress Julia Roberts brings the quotes of the day: On her constant slim figure: "It is 97 percent genetics. Don't let anybody tell you any crap about anything else, because that's what it is — 97 percent genetics and three percent just get your ass moving. I should know because I've never met a cookie I didn't like!" On weight-obsessed Hollywood: "I'm too old for that crap. It's so silly, so pointless, and it's motivated by a culture that for some reason finds it entertaining to perpetuate the glorification of our youth. It's really sad and disinteresting. I mean, I know people really suffer and I just think, 'How can they perpetuate that? It's silly to consider it a personal triumph for myself that in almost 24 years in showbusiness — except for being pregnant — I've weighed within about a five to 10lb range. That seems unusual, but I'm lucky I haven't suffered those things. I think it's important for us to start perpetuating the healthy, happy way of looking at it as opposed to supporting the negative ideal of what a girl should ideally look like." … says Julia.
